When you first find out you're relocating to a new town, state or unfamiliar area it can be a very stressful moment in your life.  Moving in itself is stressful when it is something you planned.  Being a REALTOR and in the business for a long while I have relocated many families and helped them in any way I can.  Not everyone knows how to relocate a family or will take the reduction in commission the agency offers.  As a seller I am advising you to really do your homework and start early interviewing agents who will work with you and for you to make your move less stressful.

 

Make sure you are hiring a full service REALTOR who will be by your side every step of the way and is not afraid to get their hands dirty.  This is very important when you may need someone to come  check on the animals, meet with repair men or drive you to the airport when you need to leave town to look for new homes in your new location.
